Un-conferences, hackathons and pretty much anything current, tech and open-source is all the rage these days. Well, far be it from the Thumbs to be out of date. Thumb Arcade is an official sponsor of Beaver BarCamp 8 – the eighth “unconference” at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR. This all-day conference will host speakers, sessions and even speed-hack groups throughout the day (10am to 6pm) on October 29th, 2011.

Thumb Arcade is sponsoring a speed-hack session, so get your “brain” on and attend. You might just wind up with a job at the next great tech startup! We’re also speaking at a session on Self-Published apps on behalf of “Selfpubd“. For all you game and app enthusiasts out there, this is THE place to be if you want a co-op style publisher backing you up!
